Waste Systems

A Greener Approach to Plumbing

It’s Definitely Possible!

Septic Tank Services

Septic systems are not only cost effective and low maintenance, they are also more environmentally friendly. Regular sewage lines can sometimes leak raw sewage into the ground and our water ways, harming and contaminating the environment and the wildlife around the leak and beyond.

Septic tanks process the waste naturally and are as close to set and forget as you can get when it comes to dealing with waste. We work with a wide range of brands to ensure you get the best solution for you and your family.

Grey Water Services

Implementing a grey water system is a great way to be environmentally conscious by getting the most out of your water usage. Once you’ve used the water in your shower, washing machine, kitchen sink etc it can be drained out onto your garden to water your plants or veggies.

FAQ’s

  • How Often Should I Clean Out My Septic Tank?

Generally, it’s recommended that your have your septic tank pumped and reset every 3 to 5 years. Depending on the size of your household, you might need to have it done more regularly. We certainly don’t recommend leaving it any longer than five years even for a system that doesn’t face regular use.

  • Is There Anything I Need to Be Aware Of When It Comes To Grey Water?

Yes! To avoid contaminating the soil in your yard and introducing harmful chemicals into the environment around you, we highly recommend you always check any cleaning products and self-care products you use are grey water friendly. For example, your dishwashing liquid, laundry liquid, shampoo and conditioner etc.

  • Do I Need to Install a Whole-Home Filtration System to Get the Benefits?

While a whole-home filtration system is the best solution, it’s not always the most affordable or reasonable for your circumstances. Individual filters for taps and showers can be purchased and installed based on where you feel it will be most beneficial for you and your family.
